Previously, in corporate finance with Allenby Capital and Arden Partners plc, specializing in private and small cap public transactions including several IPOs.
Swin founded the Company. He is an engineer, with deep knowledge in motorcycles and electric drivetrain systems. Swin’s 22 years’ experience as Managing Partner of Paragon Partners, a corporate solutions provider he founded in 1997, will enrich the board with valuable insights into corporate leadership. Prior to this Swin was country head of two investment banks, NatWest Markets and CLSA, in Thailand. He began his career with Morgan Stanley in New York in 1987, after having graduated with an MSc from the London School of Economics. As well as being CEO, Swin is also Head of Technology and Product Development.
Jeremy joined the Board in October 2018 and following Admission will be responsible for Group strategy, finance, investor relations and corporate governance.
Jeremy’s 30 years’ experience working in a range of senior financial and commercial roles in the technology, automotive and sustainable transport sectors (as well as his involvement in a number of companies focusing on the opportunities created by the transition to clean air and low carbon energy) will bring valuable knowledge to the board as it looks to enter the sustainable transport sector.
Jeremy’s recent experience includes his roles as Chief Financial Officer for CloudMade Limited, a joint venture with a global Tier 1 automotive supplier, Highview Power Storage Limited, a large-scale energy storage technology company, and Dearman Engine Company Limited who have developed a zero-emission engine to be used in the transport sector.
Warin has 10 years’ experience as a leading product designer and founder of COR Design, known to many Asian OEMs for its design innovations, and expert implementation.
Warin has won multiple international awards, including the European Product Design Awards Silver Prize in 2019 for the i300. He was the Bronze Prize Winner, IDA Award in the US in 2017, in addition to winning the European Product Design Awards Silver Prize in 2017. In 2016, he won the Red Dot Design Award | Product Design (Germany) as well as the iF Design Award | Product Design (Germany). In 2015, he won the Good Design Award Japan.
Michael is the Group’s Co-Founder and integral member of the vehicle development team. Michael is a lifetime motorcycle and scooter enthusiast and collector. He has over 30 years’ experience in retail and transportation services. He has extensive experience of the UK retail industry, including apparel and accessories. Michael will remain as Zapp’s Board Advisor for retail and sales activities. He is a graduate of Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
James is a marketing strategy and brand positioning expert responsible for kickstarting many brands which have since become well known across the world. James has over 30 years’ experience servicing major multinational consumer accounts including: Motorola, Burger King, KFC, Campbell’s Soups Colgate, Nike, Northern Telecom, Ray Ban, Sony, Fuji Film, Grand Hyatt, Hilton Hotels, Oakwood group. Formerly, he was part of the senior management team at Young & Rubicam/DYR, McCann Erickson and J. Walter Thompson. James joined Zapp Scooters in 2018 and is responsible for Zapp’s marketing strategy, brand positioning and their implementation.
Yongkiat’s Thai listed company, Somboon Advanced Technology PLC (SAT), has been a major Tier 1 supplier, providing critical components to Japanese car OEMs (in particular Toyota) for over 30 years. He is currently Vice Chairman of the Executive Board of SAT. He is also Chairman of the Toyota Cooperation Club (TCC), Director of the Thailand-Japan Technology Promotion Association, Committee Member of the National Science and Technology Development Agency’s Industrial Research Committee, and Honorary Chairman of the Thai Automotive Parts Manufacturers Association (TAPMA), where he served as President 2003-2006.
Chahine was Tesla’s Regional Sales Director for 4 years in Paris and Ile de France, where he grew Tesla’s sales network in the region from scratch.
Prior to joining Tesla, Chahine spent 6 years at Apple Inc., where he significantly expanded Apple’s sales network in the Paris region.
Tony Posawatz, PE, is President and CEO of Invictus iCAR, focusing on automotive-tech company advancement.
An automotive professional with nearly 40 years of industry experience, Tony formerly led vehicle development of the Chevrolet Volt at General Motors (GM). He also served as the President and CEO of Fisker Automotive. He currently serves as a board director of several auto-tech companies, including Lucid Motors, INRIX, Nexeon, Spiers New Technologies (SNT), Beam Global (BEEM), SemaConnect, and Renovo Auto.
Tony is best known for many product innovations, leading his product development teams to numerous awards and many industry firsts. Tony is considered an expert on the future of mobility, the electric drive ecosystem, and the integration of future transportation technologies — ACES (Autonomous, Connected, Electric, Shared).
Edouard was born in Switzerland in a family of watchmakers. With a Master in Engineering from the EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland, and an MBA from Wharton, Philadelphia, USA, he has a 360° perspective of the luxury business. His experience includes regional leadership roles for high-end watch brands in Asia and Europe, and management consulting across various industries.
Since April 2013, Edouard is the CEO of H. Moser & Cie. Under his leadership, this almost bicentenary brand grew to become one of the most iconic Swiss independent manufacturers on the watchmaking scene.
